SUCHINDRUM TEMPLE

The glorious suchindram tepmple which in kannyakumari tamil nadu state 11 km from kanyakumari suchindram temple is unique in the whole india in that it is dedicated to three different deities called sthanumalaya kovli. THE TEMPLE The entrance tower to this temple is visible from a distance as it rises majestically for 134 feet. The face of the tower is covered with sculptures and statues from Hindu mythology. There is a covered area in front of the main entrance and the entrance itself is about 24 feet high with a beautifully carved door. There is only one corridor running along the outer wall of the temple with many shrines and mandapams scattered in the inner area. Meenakshi Temple Also referred to as Meenakshi Amman or Minakshi-Sundareshwara Temple, is a historic Hindu temple located on the southern bank of the  Vaigai River  in the temple city of  Madurai ,  Tamil Nadu ,  India . It is dedicated to  Meenakshi , a form of  Parvati , and her consort,  Sundareswar , a form of  Shiva . The temple is at the center of the ancient temple city of Madurai mentioned in the Tamil Sangam literature, with the goddess temple mentioned in 6th century CE texts. Hi guys its pramod, now this being my 4th blog post i'm happy to tell you that i'm happy that you guys read my blog. Now this a story of a place in maharashtra and karnataka border its just a mysterious story of the temple of kopeshwar which is in khidrapur near the river banks of  krishna. here's the story.                         A few weeks ago i had just visited a nice and calm place which is not really famous at all. As I mentioned it above the temple of kopeshwar in khidrapur is an oldest temple known.    It was built by Shilahara King Gandaraditya in the 12th century by  Shilahara  kings Gandaraditya, Vijayaditya and Bhoj-2 between 1109 and 1178 AD and then by Seuna Yadavas.
